Messing about

My gold squares are coming on, but I thought I would have an injection of colour this week.

I have been messing about with paper, acrylic, home-made funky foam stamps and dyes.
No plan, no rules, no objective, no purpose, no thinking, no need for good results.

We had a day of blue sky and warm sunshine - in December!!! I couldn't resist the temptation to get back to working in the garden.

In no particular order, with no rhyme or reason, the results:

  1. sooo... is this inspiration for your quilting designs? I can see many here, apart from the stamping. Thank you!

  2. A very productive play day. I can bounce from loving a bright one to loving a pastel. When there is no deadline, bouncing from project to project gives the resting one some incubation time as well as waking up other images.

  3. Hilary, what fun! What a great way to make the most of the sunshine, and the colours look so much more vibrant outside. The fern is wonderful.

  4. Beautiful results. Can't wait to see what you do with them. Much too cold here in December to do anything outside.

  5. These are beautiful enough to frame... could be a nice series. I love the colors, especially since you were just "messing around" this shows your true artistry! So impressive. And it looks like, that like me, you are hard at work on the gold squares and not blogging so much this month. Me Too! So busy. Merry Christmas.

  6. Just discovered your blog (via "The Inbox Jaunt"). I love the "cut apart" curvy pieces you showed in Dec. 2014 and the
playful painted pieces from your garden session.
