Triangle Tangle - free motion quilting Cameo 29 |
This is quite a simple but unusual and effective all-over design. In a way it is like an angle 3-D stipple and like a stipple can be made large or small, tight or more relaxed - and fit into any shape or corner. In other words, it is very flexible!

Great design. This one gets my head spinning with all kinds of variations. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI like this design. How do you do it exactly? One jagged line and then one following along that makes it 3-D?
ReplyDeleteIf only I could free motion quilt. The lavender quilt I am working on right now I would give anything to free motion quilt it, but am so afraid I will ruin years of work. I think I am going to focus in on all the cameos and see if a can try one on a fake quilt sandwich. I am 75 and come from the old school that did tiny hand stitches by hand on a frame swinging from the ceiling of the church basement. I adore all of your work. You are so talented and CREATIVE :-) Any suggestions you have for a real beginner I would really appreciate.genie

Nice pattern, and you chose a great background fabric to show it off.
